Your locks look fab. I started my SL's 5 weeks ago with very thick hair. I hope mine look as fab as yours at 11 months. By the way are you fully locked yet?
I would say I am about 85% locked. I tend to experience some slippage in my front and back edges after several shampoos. The rest of my locks seem to be settling rather nicely. Because of the texture of my hair I am guessing it will probably take another 6 months to be about 95% locked.
I'm sure you hair is going to look great. Thick hair locks much faster. If you hair is thick and coarse you will probably be locked in less than 1 yr. Make sure you take lots of photos so you can see just how your hair evolves over time.
